Most Commonly Asked Questions

  1. What is your favorite aspect of working in the Myrtle Beachgolfing industry?

      A.        I love being able to help people who have never been to the Beach before come down and have a great experience that they will remember for the rest of their lives.

2.   What would you suggest to people who are visiting Myrtle Beachfor the first time?

      A.        Do your research. Find out which courses you want to play, where you want to stay, and build your vacation around that.

3.   What would you suggest on those coming to Myrtle Beachon a budget?

      A.        Be open to suggestion. We know how to save you the most money by booking certain packages and staying at certain places which will allow you to spend more money on other activities like going out to eat or shopping around the beach.

4.   Who is/are your favorite tour player(s)?

      A.        I’ve been following Tiger Woods since I was 6 years old. I’m still pulling for him to break all the records; I know he has it in him. I am also a big fan of Rory McIlroy, Camilo Villegas, Luke Donald, Bubba Watson, Phil Mickelson, Ian Poulter, Martin Kaymer, and Dustin Johnson (went to same college).

5.   Why Choose Myrtle Beachover another vacation destination?

      A.        It’s simple; Myrtle Beach has the most golf in the world. If you want the biggest selection of championship courses, you come to Myrtle Beach.

6.   Myrtle Beachis called “The Golf Capital of the World,” is golf all there is to do in Myrtle Beach?

      A.        Not at all, Myrtle Beach is filled with hundreds of restaurants, shops, bars, and of course we have a 60 mile stretch of beautiful beaches.

7.   How long have you lived in Myrtle Beach? Where did you live before?

      A.        I have been in Myrtle Beach since August 2008 when I started attending Coastal Carolina University. I am in the PGA Golf Management Program at Coastal working on getting my Class A PGA card. Before Myrtle Beach I lived in South East Connecticut right next to the 2 biggest casinos in the world.

8.   What’s the best golf tip you’ve ever received?

      A.        Don’t get so caught up in the technical part of the swing. I’ve seen so many people (especially myself) who think about tips they’ve heard too much. The golf swing is about feel. Once you find your swing, “Don’t change what aint broken.”

9.   Where are some of your favorite places to eat in Myrtle Beach?

      A.        I would definitely check out Little Pigs BBQ on 62nd ave N off 17 Bypass, Rosica’s for their cheesesteaks off of Carolina Forrest, and if you want more fine dining, check out Divine Prime in Market Commons or Rioz Steakhouse off 29th ave N.
